A small journal makes care easier

Practical notes for taking the next sensible step.

01

What to record

Note the date, plant, location, soil feel, and anything that changed. Two lines are usually enough.

02

What not to change at once

If a leaf yellows, avoid simultaneously moving the plant, repotting it and adding fertilizer. Small, separate changes are easier to understand.

03

The monthly review

Compare new growth and general leaf condition with your earlier notes. Healthy change is usually gradual.

04

Keep the record small

A two-column note for date and observation is usually enough. The system should be easier than remembering every detail.
